Brandon is the quintessential Cape Town boy. He was born in District Six and his childhood dream was to become a radio presenter. He became a mobile DJ while still in high school. At the time he was playing soccer competitively, but also training in the arts of Latin and Ballroom dancing. He was seriously committed to both.

As an increasingly popular club DJ and event MC, he continued to pursue his dream of being a broadcaster, finally getting a slot on P4. Brandon left the airwaves for a while to travel the world before returning thoroughly refreshed to a newly created Heart 104.9FM.

He still manages to find the time to take over the kitchen and cook for his friends. “It’s always good to have guinea pigs to test my experiments on,” he says. He’s been a committed biker for years and (much to his own surprise) he’s also become an avid golf fanatic.

The weekend show is a mix of old-school classics and Brandon slows things down on Sundays with smooth sounds and old school slow jams.
His bubbly personality and sense of humour are certain to keep a smile on the faces of the listeners.
