Diggy hails from Port Elizabeth where he grew up with his four brothers and sister. The veteran club DJ began his musical career in the 90’s when was a founding member of the Cape Town Kwaito group Dentai. In 1999 the group was nominated for a SAMA. Diggy has vast experience as a DJ where he keeps crowds jamming till the early hours with house grooves.

He also has a record deal with StereoType Records where is working on a jazz / soul solo album.

In 1997 Diggy obtained a Social Science degree from the University of Cape Town, majoring in Organisational Psychology. His education, his reputation for being a truly gifted voice artist and his broad knowledge of music can be ascribed to his success and popularity as a Radio DJ.
