Originally from the Eastern Cape, Lunga Singama grew up in Transkei with the idea that teaching and nursing were the obvious career paths to follow. This changed the instant he heard an unfamiliar voice on Radio Transkei: Steve Bishop on Capital Radio.

From that day, Lunga knew his passion was radio as the show ‘Driving the Music Home’ opened a new perspective for him.

Then and there, he made the decision to follow his dream.

Lunga moved to Cape Town to study at the University of Western Cape. After finally honing his skills on retail radio, he joined Heart 104.9FM and now presents his own daily show.
