The Phat Joe Morning Show
Show times:
Weekdays 06:00 – 09:00.

Phat Joe is a household name and has been the host of numerous radio and television shows in South Africa. He started his radio career in 1995 by becoming a DJ at Bop FM. A man of many talents, he moved on to acquire a Sales Executive position at Yfm. Two years later he had his own breakfast show and was fast growing in popularity.

His domination of Johannesburg’s airwaves landed him a role on his own TV show. ‘Phat Joe Live’ launched on ETV in 1999. In 2001 he was back on radio, first at Metro FM, then at Kaya FM and more recently signed by Heart 104.9FM.

The breakfast show is all about fun and is known to be quite controversial at times. Phat Joe is supported by sports anchor Nick Feinberg and traffic anchor Julian Naidoo.

Best known for his “tell it like it is” personality, Phat Joe has occupied media headlines and landed in hot water numerous times.

There is no doubt however that when Joe speaks, people listen.
