Brandon is the quintessential Cape Town boy. Born in District Six, his childhood dream was to be a radio presenter, and he became a mobile DJ while still in high school. At the same time he was playing soccer quite seriously, and dancing Latin and ballroom at a competitive level!

As an increasingly popular club DJ and event MC, he continued to pursue his dream of being a broadcaster until finally getting a slot on P4. Finding himself becoming a bit jaded, he left the airwaves for a while to travel the world before returning thoroughly refreshed to the newly created Heart 104.9fm

Still very involved in the club scene, Brandon is a man of many facets. He is a father whose son, Christian, is the focus of his attention. He still manages to find time to take over the kitchen and cook for his friends. “It’s always good to have guinea pigs to test my experiments on,” he says. He’s been a committed biker for years, and (much to his own surprise) he’s also become an avid golf fanatic, and is always on the ‘entertainment’ leader board at the Heart Golf Society outings.
