Emotional deception (“I love you”) by men is astonishingly common tactic for persuading women to have sex with them.

Turns out this is just one form of deception people use to get into bed with each other. What a fascinating show it was with In the Mix with Diggy, tonight. Real motional trauma shared by both men and women. So do the check list below for yourself. Tick off if you have ever deceived a woman in one of these common ways. Then the list below id a guide for women to use to check in on their feelings of defence- use this guide to avoid beign stupid, avoid beign deceived by the dude who peomises you all -- and thne never calls you in the morning.

WOMEN REPORT THIS DECEPTION BY MEN:
• concealed a serious involvement with another woman
• lied about how attracted he was to other women
• concealed emotional feelings for another woman
• exaggerated his work and ambitions
• exaggerated how kind and understanding he was
• misled her about how strong his feelings for her were
• concealed the fact that he was flirting with other women
• misled her about the depth of his feelings for her in order to get sex
• misled her about the level of his long term commitment to her

Women try to defend themselves against deceivers:
• reading nonverbal signals – facial expressions, body movements, vocal tones to assess sincerity, his social reputation, sexual history
• insisting on a longer courtship before consenting to sex- gives her more time to assess him
• women become so angry at being deceived that hold the memory of it
• commitment sceptisim : he says I love you on second date – she somewhat sceptic.
