Dr Eve has a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and is in Private Practice as a Clinical Sexologist and Couple and Sex Therapist in Cape Town. She is a part time lecturer at UCT Medical School and SACAP.
Her first two books PILLOWBOOK (Oshun 2007) & DR. EVE’S SEX BOOK –A GUIDE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (Human & Rousseau, 2008) have both become best sellers. Dr Eve believes that getting older by no means indicates a diminishing lack of interest in sex. Her new book tackles this almost taboo topic; titled AGEING AND SEXUALITY – A 21ST CENTRY GUIDE TO LONG LASTING SENSUALITY (Oshun 2009), this third book was launched in July 2009.
She also writes for many national magazines and has her own columns in Longevity, Sarie and Move! She is an expert on health24.com and women24.com. She is a board member of a number of national and international organizations. In 2009 she was elected as a Director of ISSWSH (international Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health). She travels locally and abroad doing academic presentations. As DR. EVE, she has had a “love affair” with radio for several years, and often appears on television.
