Jarrad got bitten by the music bug young – at the age of 13, he had already started establishing his reputation as a DJ. What else is there to do in PE, right?
He was a successful club DJ before he turned eighteen, and cut his radio teeth by becoming the youngest presenter on CBFM, a local community station.
He went from strength to strength over the next decade, working in retail radio and doing stints at several local stations – all the while growing his presence as one of the best club DJs around.
You might know him as ‘JET’ – fitting for the high-speed, adventurous qualities he brings to the decks. He’s done residencies at some of the best clubs in Cape Town; guested at top clubs around the country; and played major events, from big-name concerts to the J&B Met. His focus is all music, all the time – he’s annoyingly well-versed on what the world’s best producers, DJs and bands are up to, and will go on at length about anything music-related if given half the chance. Listen out for his contribution to the Weekend Party on Heart 104.9FM, Friday nights from 10pm to 1am.
