Meg's journey in entertainment began as a child when she started learning music and drama at junior school in Namibia. In 1996 she returned to the city of her birth, Cape Town, and attended Rustenberg Girls' High. Here she took part in many of the school's plays and performances, including the choir and music society.
After living in London for a year, in 2002 she returned to Cape Town where she studied Acting for Film, Radio and Television at City Varsity. After she earned her diploma, she began working as a voice artist. A series of jobs in community and retail radio brought her to the attention of Heart 104.9FM, where her beautifully modulated voice has become a feature of the early morning sound of Cape Town Soul.
