| Borrowed Angels Posted on Wednesday, August 04, 2010Laurika Steenkamp is hosting a music concert called "Borrowed Angels" for moms who lost their babies before 40 weeks.
This is a platform to come and say goodbye but also to rejoice that God can heal a broken heart.
The concert is in memory of her twins she lost last year on August 12.
It takes place at the NG church Parow-Panorama, August 12 at 7pm.

| KIDS ZONE IN DURING THE HOLIDAYS AT THE V&A WATERFRONT Posted on Monday, July 05, 2010Cape Town, 3 June 2010: The V&A Waterfront is host to a variety of entertainment options geared for kids on holiday. Three dedicated kids’ zones have been set up, along with a Football Focus Show that will take place every day during the World Cup. A boon for busy parents, these activities are sure to find favour.
The three dedicated Kids Zones are as follows:
1. Craft Zone
Operating from 12 noon till 2pm daily, from 12 June until 11 July at the Blue Shed Craft Market (in the Workshop area), activities will include arts and crafts workshops to bring out that creative genius; face painting; fun with balloon animals; and “Once upon a time” story telling. Entrance is R30 per entry and the activities are suited to ages 4 to 12.
2. Action Zone
Suited to ages 6 to 16, the Action Zone is open daily from 11am to 4pm from 12 June to 11 July in the Blue Shed Craft Market (Expo Area). Kids will be able to learn ball skills; participate in dance workshops, enjoy soccer quiz games and a movie hour. Live entertainment shows will also take place every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm in the Action Zone. Entrance to this zone is free.
3. Game Zone
If you have a budding gamer, the Game Zone, next to Cinema Nouveau in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre is where you need to head to. Open from 11am to 4pm daily from 12 June until 11 July, the Game Zone will offer laser target practice; X-Box and Nintendo Games; and a daily “how fast are your fingers” challenge. Prizes are on offer for the best scores daily, with the overall Game Finale on Saturday 11 July at 12 noon.
Entrance is R50 for ages 6 to 16.
And for the whole family, the V&A Waterfront Football Focus Show will get everyone into the World Cup spirit. Hosted at the Amphitheatre daily from 12pm to 1pm, the show will see resident Football Fundi, [insert name] on stage interviewing key people in the football world. All matches will be reviewed, scores predicted and football quizzes, games and give-aways will keep the audience entertained.

| DAILY FOOTBALL SHOW SET TO KEEP THE WHOLE FAMILY ENTERTAINED AT THE V&A WATERFRONT Posted on Monday, July 05, 2010Cape Town, 14 June 2010: The V&A Waterfront Football Focus Show will get everyone into the World Cup spirit. Hosted at the Amphitheatre daily from 12pm to 1pm, the show will see two well-known “Football Fundi’s” take to the stage to give visitors a unique glimpse into the world of football.
Zain Johnson, well-known for keeping Capetonians up to date with sport results on local radio station KFM, will act as MC to host the daily show which will include football quiz games and give-aways. Johnson will also do reviews of each game with football analyst and 2010 World Cup Ambassador for the Western Cape, Sergio Dos Santos.
This daily hour-long entertainment line up in the Amphitheatre will also include unique story telling about football, football short films, Waka-Waka music videos and on selected days, special performances by the V&A Waterfront’s World Cup Buskers.
