"Its time again to dust off those takkies and register for this years Community Put Foot walk-a-thon. What turned out to be the last walk in the Tokai Forest promises to be the first stroll in the park.
This event is ideal for the family and takes place on 20 November, 3pm at the Cape School of Science and Technology on Firgrove Road, Constantia. The 4km and 8km route winds its way through Constantia Hills, Sweet Valley and the Tokai National Park (Tokai Forest). Entrance fees are R30 and R40 respectively with an add-on of R5 for late registrations. T-shirts, food and refreshments will be on sale at the event and fabulous spot prizes can be won at the finish. 
Although the course is the same as last year, we can assure participants that the experience will be completely different. While parts of the track was tip-toeing on sandbags last year due to unusually heavy rainfall, this year the forest has made way to thriving fynbos and the views are spectacular.
