The Grand Finale of the 2011 Absa Cape Epic
The Grand Finale takes place on the final day of the Absa Cape Epic, attracting 15 000 people to the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate. Entertainment at the Grand Finale includes the Cape Times Vigne à Vigne mountain bike race, the Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Trail Run, the Spur Children’s Fun Ride and the Spur Kids Play Canyon.
Visitors will also be entertained by some of South Africa’s top bands. There will also be a selection of food vendors available on the day.
The Cape Times Vigne à Vigne mountain bike race offers two routes over 27km and 55km, catering for all levels of riders. The Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Trail Runs over 6km or 15km provides runners a scenic route through the vineyards.
